Roy Arnold has been a small beekeeper in Arizona for several years and enjoys sharing about honeybees. His two great passions are applying his experience and knowledge in the art of beekeeping to mentor new beekeepers using hands-on training and support, and to educate the general public about the importance of rehabilitating Africanized bees through “genetic warfare.” He rescues honeybee swarms as well as colonies that have set up home where they are not wanted (i.e. your house) because surrender is not an option. The goal at Roy’s Bees is to save our honeybees one hive at a time, rescuing them from exterminators and collecting bees in the form of cut-out removals and swarms,  while educating the community on the importance of honeybees and the direct correlation between the honeybee and us. The mission at Roy's Bees is educating and mentoring new beekeepers in the craft of beekeeping, thus passing along these goals to the next generation of beekeepers.
